This is a Psoriatic arthritis symptom. I have Psoriatic Spondylitis, a less common form of Psoriatic arthritis. I'm just this past week having my first experience with dactylitis in my primary thumb, feels like it has been smashed with a hammer and is twice the size it normally is.
