Medication That Manage Pain When Changing Meds

A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

My physician is changing my medication from Voltaren to Celebrex because it was not working. What do you take or have taken to control the pain while you change medication therapies we’re doing this for the insurance company to say we have tried two prescription NSAIDs before I start a biologic.

I have been prescribed Etoricoxib. My doctor has asked me to take it only when it hurts and it works well for me. I take it at night and then in the morning, I don't wake up with any pain and it is fine for the whole day.
