Last scan was September, it does feel like it's gotten worse.. thank you so much for the education will keep that in mind

It's possible that it's your tendons moving over the bones when you move them a certain way. In that case you can tear the tendons like i did mine. Ouch! Or it may just be escaping gases released when you move it. You should definitely mention it next time you see your dr, especially if you have had multiple steroid injections in it. Hips can develop necrosis from steroid injections over time. Then theres the "hip" location. A lot of people actually have S/I issues that they think are hips. And then theres the torn hip labrum plausibility. Or bone marrow edema, or lesion, or... many things. 🙄

Have you had a recent bone scan done to see thickness or erosion of bones? I have ostropenia in my left hip...and that hip hurts worse than the right. Ostropenia is the step before osteoporosis. Just a thought.....
