Just remember that whatever you put in your body you are putting in your unborn child's body too..it's a tough call as to whether the inflammation is more detrimental to the baby than the medicine. Do you really want an experimental drug that hasn't been tested on a full generation of unborn babies yet? Recombinant DNA in a lab that, for many of them, includes Chinese Hamster ovaries? I don't know, i can imagine I would not do that. But I had my babies almost 30 years ago so I don't know. Make your decisions based on what you can sleep with at night. Pregnancy with Spondylitis must be so painful. I hope fot the best health for you and your baby and a painless delivery. Maybe get a cytokine panel before taking a biologic to know that you're not taking a risk by taking one that won't fo you any good anyway. Afterall, if you take one that targets say, TNF-A but IL23 is your antagonist, it's a wasted risk and vice versa. Good luck Natasa.
