@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. Good morning Lindsay. I'm sorry you've joined our ranks. I've been following your posts since you joined and as yet you have not posted anything that most of us, if not all, have not experienced yet. I say that to let you know that it won't kill you anytime soon or even necessitate something extreme like surgery so don't panic, it is manageable, even reversible depending on you.

Not knowing anything other than what you have shared, everything, the crushing fatigue, the alarming tremors, the crippling pain and swelling, the fear and depression, and a whole lot more symptoms you have not shared (hopefully not experienced) can be stopped through diet and lifestyle. I have posted extensively on my page and its all in the updates section on this. Feel free to read through it for ideas that you may find helpful.

The key is to remain consistent. I think I'll post on that on the main site page today. Stay tuned.

Regular lymphatic massage will help with lymph fluid blockages often causing lower body swelling. NO SALT. Toss the salt shaker. Foods alone contain enough salt for your body's needs. Unless your bloodwork reveals low sodium/iodine, you do not even need a light passing of the salt shaker. Go with no butter, instead use olive oil, on anything, in cooking, on bread.... NO butter ever again. NO alcohol, not even a beer or glass of wine. All alcohol is highly inflammatory. NO added sugar.

Move the joint 5 times a day to keep blood flow. 10 times knee to chest and heel to butt kicks 5 times a day to keep circulation. Even if you're on your feet all day, especially then.😌🙏

@stephaniefugget my knees lock and click then give way had a couple of falls, really pleased I’ve joined this group I’ve learned more past couple of weeks than what I’ve learned from my GP the last few months, struggling with medication, and massive fatigue which triggers panic attacks and anxiety I’m a bit lost at the moment 😢

I'm so sorry you're going through that. Your knee looks just like mine when I get up in the mornings. It's so tight and painful until I get up and moving around, but the swelling hardly goes down.
