That looks agonizing and I'm not one for surgery at all, but I think that may be the only way to affectively deal with that. Have you considered consulting a Neurospine Surgeon?

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. Look for Trent on my team. He recently went through SI joint total fusions and is much better. He told me to send anyone his way and he'll tell all about the process. I'll put you on my team as well so you can see my posts. I dont know much about your condition at all. I did Google it though and saw some pics that look super agonizing, like there's an extra bone from birth that shouldn't be there. Ouch ouch OUCH! Im so sorry for that pain you've been enduring.

I mention a Neuro Spine surgeon because I had a Radiologist Dr friend a few years ago who had undergone spine fusion in his neck, his wife too. I "need" it too but have been putting off because mine will end up in yearly surgeries until my whole spine is fused. Ugh. Anyway, he pointed out that because there are so many nerves controlling our entire bodies in and out of the spine, its a good idea to have a Neuro instead of Ortho spine surgeon work on spine needs due to their extra 2 years of schooling on nerves. I had a friend undergo a one level fusion 12 years ago and woke up unable to feel her entire left leg and walk on her own ever again. Neuros only for me after seeing that! She was just 52 at the time and had to spend a couple months in an old folks rehab home, very disheartening.

Good luck to you Dorothy, reach out anytime.😌😔🙏

I have just seen a "cold" orthopedic surgeon...waste of money and time. Maybe I should...
