Does Anyone Else Have This Experience During The Night Or When Waking It Feels Like I Have A Film Over My Teeth Does This Happen To Anyone?
@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. Only when I pull them right out of the cup and pop em right back in my mouth.😬
Just kidding! I have all my original teeth and they're quite nice!
Maybe the dog is licking your face while you're sleeping with your mouth open. Aaaaacck!
Sigh. I digress. Trying to make folks chuckle.
Film over your teeth is from dehydration.😁
I try to drink at least ninety oz of water a day and it seems to help
Yes a lot and a weird taste too.
I have had this, I think dehydration plays a role for me but then I realized it was Thrush. My tongue (no matter how many times I brushed my teeth, I had a coating feeling and flavors were not the same when I ate. I was given Nystatin liquid to swish swirl and swallow. Apparently, having conditions that cause dry mouth (which are my meds) can increase the risk of thrush and it can go into the throat. Even after brushing and gargling more it didn't go away.
I get it if I've not drunk enough during the day, it's horrible when it happens all down your throat as well as the teeth and gums.
I'm always dehydrated, even if I drink over 5 litres in a day. I've been tested and I'm not diabetic so I'm guessing it could be something to do with my PoTS.
