How Do You Handle Not Just The Pain But Your Mental Health With AS?
I have recently been diagnosed by my new Rhuematolgist with AS. It was not surprising as my primary Dr has thought this for years. I have went downhill tremendously in the past 3 months. I am suffering every single minute of the day. I am to start Humira injections as soon as they are delivered. Every two weeks. I am seeing an Orthopedic for guided SI Joint injections next week..that cant get here fast enough !! I have always battled depression but the past few weeks I am sinking. Totally⦠read more

Hi Joanne941. You have absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. Your going through hell and like we all know it's not easy at all. I'm praying the humira injections work for you. They only worked for me for a few months but boy wer they good π unfortunately they stopped working for me and now I'm being started on rinvoq my new neds arriving on Tuesday and like you can't wait for then to arrive as my pain level has went through the roof. We are all little warriors so glad we have this site we can all share our stories and get advice and support when we need it.
