Try drinking fresh ginger infused water. It helped with my swollen tongue, helped to expell mucus, and quenched my dry mouth. Cucumber and lemon infused water did the same. I keep a yeti of one of those next to my bed at night. Also I made a lip balm out of Raw Shea Butter, vitamin E oil, a touch of olive oil and blended it. Put it in a small lip balm container and it finally keeps my lips from being chapped. Keeps them soft with a nice shine.
