I usually take a nap everyday due to chronic fatigue. I use to feel guilty about it but I don't anymore because I can't control it. Dealing with pain everyday is exhausting so I feel justified and it does help me feel better.

There's nothing wrong with a nap. Also check for anemia, it can be a companion of AS and does lead to being tired. I am still fighting with it, take my B12s, calcium and vitamin D supplements along with making myself eat my fruits and veggies.
