I'm diagnosed with AS 6 years ago, and this year is being brutal to me, I'm still trying to find my self in this and I cannot realize still that I need to slow down....

Do you have pain in your chest and breastbone, and how does it feels for you
I do have Mitral Balve replaced 5 years ago, and I get panic attach when my chest are tight and hurts, so I ended up in ER like 3 times already, with chest pain, and because of my history of Mitral Valve replacement, they will runโ€ฆ read more

I hope you feel better soon. I dont know what the drs are recommending for you, but perhaps you may want to consider trying some meditation and breathing exercises. It is helpful

Mitral valve prolapse is often a part of the CONFLICTS between fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. We, are not medical dr's to be able to give medical advice but all and any medications should be discussed with your current doctor. I know with the fda, and the feds the rules are tightened up with perscription pain pills, but I do hope you can find some relief if it means perhaps getting some lidocaine ointment which helps a great deal for the areas where you are affected. Good luck and welcome to the group

Hi. I was having the same pain in my chest. Had blood work, heart ultra sound, x-rays heart was fine. Finally diagnosis with Costochondritis. Symptons mimic a heart attack. If you have RA or AS your at risk of having Costochondritis. Hope this helps a little. Feel better๐Ÿค—
