Look for unflavored hydrolyzed collagen peptides based from bovine bone broth. Most collagen powders, especially flavored ones are sweetened with artificial sweeteners. Most are whey or pea protein. All these things cause gastro problems in many people, especially autoimmune people. I can go into the reasons for that if anyone wants. Just look for ones that have the sole ingredient as collagen peptides from meat you can eat with nothing else added. No maltodextrin, no whey, no pea, no artificial sugars that end in -ol (aka polyols). Most bovine collagen peptides protein cones from the hide. I can personally attest that after over a year or two taking it daily (4 min for me by now) there is a definite noticeable improvement in skin, nails and hair. That makes sense, these peptides were formulated from hides of the animal. I just recently learned about bone and connective tissue sourced peptides and started using that one a month ago. I'm hoping that it will do for my joints and bones what the other one did for my topical tissues. It makes sense to me that it would. Uf you have issues with bovine, you can also try fish, chicken, or vegetable sourced collagen peptides, However, it probably wont benefit your joints as much as the bovine sources because the amino acid profiles, particularly of vegan sources, are not as supportive of human cellular energy as bovine sources. Hydrolyzed collagen peptides from bovine bone and connective tissue without any other ingredients is what you want for joint health, theoretically. Check with me again this time next year for the results of this latest experiment. 😁🐮

I tried Collegan and love it. I haven't had the same toiletry
issues though. I started taking vitamin E, I believe it helps some what. It's difficult to say what might help you. Fish oil? Im looking for the same thing.

The collagen work for a bit for me until it started making me go to the bathroom a lot. Not number 1, but number 2. Not good. I had to stop. Everyone is different. I need to know about the Lubrication stuff. How does it work?
