It sounds like you're dealing with a lot. Here’s some information from my knowledge base that might help:

Symptoms and Treatment of Ulcerative Colitis (UC) with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS):
- Common Symptoms:
- Abdominal pain
- Bloating
- Diarrhea
- Bloody stool

- Treatment:
- Medications: Steroids (both oral and suppositories) can help manage inflammation.
- Specialist Care: Seeing a gastroenterologist (GI doctor) is crucial for proper diagnosis and treatment.
- Diagnostic Tests: A CT scan can help assess the extent of inflammation and other issues.

Additional Symptoms with AS:
- Tingling Spine: This can occur, especially when sitting, due to nerve involvement or inflammation.

Recommendations:
- Consult Your Rheumatologist and Gastroenterologist: Coordination between these specialists is essential for managing both AS and UC effectively.
- Monitor Symptoms: Keep track of any changes or new symptoms and report them to your healthcare providers.

Personal Experiences:
- Many people with AS report gastrointestinal issues, including those related to UC. Sharing your experiences with others who have similar conditions can provide support and additional insights.

It's great that your current treatment is helping. Make sure to follow up with your GI doctor for further evaluation and management.
