The friends see.me as okay. But they don't understand to pain, fatigue, and mobility . Now im.blind in one eye, they want me to be out and about or pity me. Geez. At least my psychiatrist understands.
Have a peaceful weekend.

I've had 4 spine surgeries so far. But I heal really well. The last surgery was 8 hrs- a surprise me and surgeon. Next week are fusing the si joints.
Some if my friends think I should just get on with things

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. What do they mean by "get on with things"? Sounds to me like youve been getting on with things for quite awhile. It also sounds like a whole lot of agonizing pain. The lesions and edema are likely the result of all the surgeries (scarring, bone regrowth as part of scarring/healing), osteoporosis, and disease. Im sorry that it's been so hard on you Nadine. 😕🙏

That is unfortunate Nadine. Now we know why you've been having such a rough go of it lately. I haven't been told that I have these, but I do have multiple osteophytes (sometimes referred to as lesions, but i dont know what type) in my discs, most of my facets, a few cysts in the vertebra column and on the sacrum, a large lesion in greater trochanter of hip marrow that we keep an eye on for changes. I'm trying stem cell treatments for these and other spine issues as a last effort to avoid surgery, also hips. I'll let you know if it helps soon. I have a follow up MRI next week and consult in a month. What are you doing about yours? Thinking of you. 😔🙏
