Hello, Has Anyone Started A Treatment With Cosentyx, For Ankylosing Spondylitis ? I'm Looking For Honest Reviews
I really hope it wotks. I can't walk long because of achilles enthesitis. I stopped too many activities because I can stand up or walk without pain.
I'm on cosentyx. I use to be on infusions before.
I switched because my condition wasn't getting any better and got kidney failure.
I see people say it doesn't help with pain, but it isn't a pain medication. It is an autoimmune suppressant.
While on cosentyx, my kidney failure has gotten better.
(I'm on other autoimmune suppressants because of my kidney failure to help) once I'm off the other suppressants, i will increase my cosentyx dose to see if I get more improvement.
Its working so far, though I have a way to go.
Do note, not all medication are for everyone. Some meds may work while others won't work so well.
I am on my last dose of Cosentyx. It is the third Bio that I have been on. None have worked, but my Rhum. wants me to use the last one that is in my refrigerator. The next one will be another infusion
My Rheumi tried me on cosentyx, 2nd bio attempt. It made my psoriasis worse, caused a secondary skin infection, and did nothing for my pain and fatigue. Gave up after about 6 mos worsening conditions. Now inm not in any bios, after 5 failed.
