I am required to drink 4 cus coffee a day for liver treatment. But I can’t get it down black and black coffee hurts my stomach. I can’t have hardly any animal fat. I can’t have hardly any sugar at all. I can’t get up energy with liver disease to do the extreme exercise they want without coffee or cocoa powder to help me push through. I use stevia to sweeten everything. You may want to get pure stevia, not the stuff in the grocery stores that has maltodextrin and other things. You can get it on Amazon. It appears expensive, but you use only the tiniest bit. You can get it in drops, too, but most of them have alcohol. I get my powder from Amazon.
I only use one Splenda or unsweetened almond milk in my coffee. Even the unsweetened almond milk has a sweetened taste to it.
Well everybody, after modification after modification I have switched to a less bitter tasting robust coffee and gone back to plain old ORIGINAL type Folgers. It’s easier on my innards. This is not as tasty as Coffee Mate by any means because we know the food wizards use chemicals to make things above and beyond normal addictive taste sensations. But I found I can tolerate coffee with Fairlife fat free milk and it is extremely low in carbs so great for maintaining my blood sugar. So I measure out 3/4 a cup of it every morning and have it with 4 cups of coffee and that seems to work. It’s high protein which is a bonus and helps me get my minerals in my day.I use a chaser for pleasure such as 3 or 4 black berries or some such favorite food bite to clear my palet afterward
BarbieLux, I spend $36.00 a month and buy a mushroom coffee. The brand is Daily Dose. I've actually used their product and am making my own version for home use. I have an abundance of fungi that is harvestable in my forest. Reishi, Chaga, and more! I'm only using a little more than 2 tablespoons a day(2 cups of coffee) I use my herbal teas as a base for the mushroom coffee powder. My teas can be sweet/spicy. I use honeybush plant, fresh cinnamon and cardamom, and whatever herbs I crave.
I just add a little milk or 1/2
And 1/2 to Sooth the acidity :)
