Oral Methotrexate Days
I am starting Methotrexate in the next few days...trying to figure out the best day for me. What was your experience with side effects during the initial month? How long did they last after each dose? I am asking because my son is getting married in a month and I will be traveling, so I want to time it right. I know everyone is different but just wanted to hear some of your experiences. Thank you so much!
I had severe stomach issues , had to stop . Been on Luflunomide with a biologic Still not resolved
Not a good drug to take. I wouldn’t take it. I take pain meds, medical marijuana, baclofen.
I started on 10 mg oral, and the day after I couldn’t get out of bed.
But it only happened the one time.
Have been on it for at least a couple of years. With no other side affects
I'm on injection methotrexate not tablets but I take mine on a Monday morning, by Monday afternoon I feel nauseous and tired, Tuesday I'm pretty much wiped out for the day and do nothing, I'm back to normal pretty much wednesday . It's different for everyone, I'm on a higher 20ml dose and 2 years in and the side affects have remained the same
