Do You Feel Feverish?
I am sitting here feeling the heat radiating from my body. Does anyone else feel this way but not actually have a fever?
I do feel like I am in somewhat of a flare. My neck is actually hot. Along with lowerback/si joint area. My face and neck actually flush.
If I was a few years older I would think I’m going through menapause! 🤣
I see a Korean Acupuncture doctor. But I have a massage therapist that adjusts my neck and spine.
I think feeling warm may be pressure on nerve, inflammation.
Best to avoid inflammatory foods.
Helps to put a pillow under your knees or between your legs.
This happens to me too. When I’m having a bad day I feel feverish and shaky.
I am the opposite and am always freezing cold. I also get Reynauds so always have dead, white fingers. Wearing loads of heavy warm clothing makes it hard to move around!
I have some occasional flushes like that, generally lasting a few minutes. They're somewhat rare for me but they do happen.
My whole body or extremities will swell in addition to the spine. Face sometimes gets flush when inflammed. External temp can reach 99.x F while oral is 97.x F. Years ago, I would happily walk in the snow barefoot to get the mail. Being cold is rarely an issue. I'm definitely not going through menopause. ;-) Ice packs sometimes help as do compression socks, gloves and undershirts. Stretching and walking slowly helps, too.
Wishing you some days without radiating heat! I so enjoy reading what you write.
