Has Anyone Found A Medication Which Has Helped With Plantar Fasciitis?

I have been diagnosed for the last four years with ankylosing spondylitis. I’m on Rin Voke, which manages probably about half of my pain. But recently, the palms of my hands and soles of my feet have become quite painful.

Yep, same for me with crocs, support for heels, arches, toe box room, thick rubber. I don't take 2 steps without slipping them on.

I was in a full boot for 6 months and that didn’t fix it. Someone told me about Oofos shoes. I bought the flip flops and wore them in the house like bedroom shoes. Foot Dr told me to never walk barefoot. Those shoes FIXED my foot! I then bought the Oofos tennis shoe as well. They aren’t cheap but they did the trick. I’ve been pain free since !

Hi Hilary - I had success a few years ago with "Trigger shots" (lidocaine) through my PA at Chiropractic office. I had plantar facitis in my right foot & used to have to drive 1 1/2 hours to work (each way) in complete bumper to bumper traffic - the constant foot flexing on the pedal was excruciating & I was ready to cut my foot off myself! (just evil pain) I went to see Chiro because by then my hip hurt from walking funny, he suggested the shots for my foot and IT WORKED. (so grateful) It was a fluke thing & I was shocked & couldn't believe I had suffered so long...why didn't someone tell me sooner? (hence - just love this website for info) However, the same shots did not work for my lumbar pain, which I now know why - it was because I have AS. (Chiro thought it was stenosis) But I'll take any "Win" I can. 😉

Sending well wishes for pain to stop & healing to begin.

Sounds like potential Palmar Plantar psoriasis trying to flare. Some biologics cause this in some people. Watch for thickly blistering on palms and soles. Go to dermatologist if they get red.
