Hi Andy, I am impressed with your story and was wondering since you were diagnosed at 32 and now 70,,did you do on biologics to slow it down and if not what treatments worked for you. Did your spine end up fusing? I have so many bone fears about this disease and I am new to it...

I'm very sensitive on the sole of my feet never used be when I was younger AS, has done that over the years. Also the young person who was on about their hamstrings mine have been tightening over about 30 years with AS, it's nothing new you just have to live with it, I made a riddle up but I will tell it in a minute When you get AS and you get told you have AS and you can't Work or do what you used to do, don't just sit there a feel sorry for yourself think of what can I do and go out and do it.ie if your Doctor tell you you can't go on any rides if you have children and go to the fair just go on any ride or what you want to go on because nobodywastelling what I could but I said "I can do what I want within reason now the riddle is I MIND NO ONE ELSE MATTERS its says just do what you want and take no notice of what anybody says if they don't like it tough. That my attitude to AS I've had since I was 32 now I'm nearly 70 and I still do what I want to nobody will stop me doing it
