@A MySpondylitisTeam Member hi 👋🏻!! Most common side effects are up respiratory infections and lung infections too. In my case I took my first dose of Taltz (160mg) and can’t took my second because I had a UTI. Since I started first with methotrexate I’ve being having UTIs. So when I took the first dose my world just went down. My BP went really low even I was taking meds for HBP. And then I got my period and from 11 of hemoglobin in five days went to 8. It was crazy. But don’t get scare. I think 🤔 it wasn’t the Taltz. I think it was a bit of a lot of things at the same time. I was scared and worried and even think not to try the Taltz again. But if I take care of my UTIs I’m going to try it again. My arthritis it’s getting worse and it’s causing me troubles to take care of my house and even myself.

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member hi 👋🏻. I have colitis since 2017 and in remission since 2020 I think 🤔, hope Taltz doesn’t bring me back again the colitis.

I took Taltz for +2 years and slowly developed IBD. The gastro doc told me to quit. It took several months to get rid of my IBD symptoms. The IBD was worse than my AS.

Just be aware. IBD is buried in the multi page small print label insert. The research I saw says 10% of AS people will develop IBD. I feel it should be. Black box label. I had no idea what was causing IBD.
