I recently took gabapentin at the 300 mg starter dose, it helped, I woke up one day and had huge big bruises, almost looked like …chemical burns, I had several and they hurt, then I became delirious Christmas Eve Morning and. Christmas night, (we are going to have Christmas at some point). My husband was afraid to call anyone for help for fear they would admit me to the hospital! & anyone would have thought these huge bruises that looked like burns may have came from him! , once I was headed for the stairs, surely would have fallen - just mentioning this again because it reminded me fear of side effects is not just being dramatic! The last one is still visible……I will want to know more about side effects from now on! Good thinking!

I have been taking lyrica for 2 years now. It has helped with nerves in legs, feet and now nerve pain in jaw. Only can take at night really makes your sleepy.

Having reach the limit to what over the counter medications can offer, I think I would welcome Humira and Plaquenil. It’s always a cost benefit analysis. My stomach has been destroyed by ibuprofen, various other arthritic medicines and steroids. I still take them because I do get some relief. I just would like to be a little more active.

Unfortunately, medicine doesn’t want to discuss side effects. One of my major side effects is not being able to sleep. I take both Gabapentin and Lyrica.
