Does Anyone Have Pains In The Side Along The Ribcage And Down To The Hip Area?

A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Recently, I had occasion that the pain was severe and it also felt like my upper right abdomen felt full like that movie Alien where an alien popped out of the man's stomach area. Went to doc, had tests. Could not find the cause. Henceforth it finally went away except for the normal pain that I have all the time in the right side of my back.

A couple of years ago I was referred to a rehabilitation center to improve breathing for my lungs.

They had to monitor my heart & oxygen level.

I noticed they had a heated indoor pool.

I was told after I complete the rehab program I would be in maintenance.

So now for a couple of years I have been in the heated pool for an hour & an hour on land.

I have seen people’s pain, neuropathy, mobility & other things fixed in the water.
We were taught exercises & how to use equipment in the water.

So many places offer indoor pools.

I definitely recommend this therapy.
Some people go 5 days a week.
I go 3 days a week.

It might be a combination of chostochondroitis (ribcage inflammation) and gall bladder attack.

Ditto! I 100% con ur with Lisa173. Except I do eat lean beef and pork occasionally. Fresh or frozen plant foods, no ultra processed anything, only water to drink, a minimum 50 oz per day, other than 2 cups morning coffee each with a scoop of bovine based protein powder. Bovine for the amino acid profile, essential to brain and skeletal health. Body weight in kilos times 1.5 in grams is the current recommendation for daily protein conservation.

Minimal pain = 1. mitigate emotional stress
2. Eat right
3. Physical and rehabilitative therapies

Get 1, 2, and 3 right with consistency, no more meds necessary for arthritis.

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member, NICE JOB!!! You go lady! You're the only one I've met on these forums, I'm on 3 others, who's doing it like me and proving that I'm not the only one, that others can have success this way too. I often say that people will find a way to do that which means the most to them, and not let reasons become excuses not to do what it takes.💪😌🙏

I think it probably is a combination.
Maybe consider a different food plan.
Everyone will follow a different food plan.
I met with a nutritionist to help guide me.

The change I made was not fast.

I drink bottled water or water that has been filtered by Britta.
I have a friend with gluten problems. don’t have that problem but I did change to gluten free bread.

That caused me not to desire bread products.I lost some weight.

A couple of years ago I had congestive heart failure. My cardiologist said your heart is healthy & fine.
But your lung has fluid & it is pressing on your heart.

I was referred to a lung doctor.
Lung doctor said stop consuming lactose, you are getting to much phlegm;now I drink Almond milk.

I drink bottled water & herbal tea. I eat fresh or frozen foods.
I do not eat processed & preserved foods.

I eat fruit,vegetables,&fish.
I have limited eating chicken because the FDA has approved mass production of chickens in metal tanks. When I go to store I am not sure where it is coming from.

Basically beef & pork I avoid.

Your general doctor would be a good person to give you advice.

I do see a Korean Acupuncture doctor 1 time a month. He straightens my spine & other joints.

I have not had pain in years.

I hope you find answers too.
