Has Anyone Else Have Rotator Cuff Problems?
I have a tear and am having surgery next Tuesday to repair it. It's not like I did anything strenuous. It seems like it just happened. The pain sucks!
I should be thanking you.
You have been more than supportive to everyone here.
Thank you!
@A MySpondylitisTeam Member I hope you heal up well and that your tendon doesn’t get shortened any by the surgery. I’ll be praying it goes well. When healed you’ll need to keep up your stretches yet not stretch it too far and forget lifting heavy stuff anymore. My muscles were strong at the gym but my tendons didn’t support it. My lat pull down limit was 35 and I tore mine at 45 pounds. Those weight towers with pulleys on opposite sides are great for stretching if use low weights. I stretch shoulders and knees with it. Glad you’re getting it fixed.
I had a frozen shoulder for over 3 years. Physical therapists couldn’t get it to release. One day the gym got a new machine. It was a lat pull down that worked the shoulders independently and had different handles for different angles. It was hydrolic and used my body resistance. Two weeks later my frozen shoulder was freed from using that machine. I was glad and amazed.
Thank you
I had mine repaired in 2021, totally recovered. My surgeon told me the opposite one probably looks similar. He said he had to remove little cysts all over the bone and said it was due to arthritis?!
