What Types Of Jobs Accommodate/allow For Body Position Changes (sit/stand/lay Down)
I haven’t worked in 5 months because of the pain (C5-6 disc bulge and lower back) and wondering what roles or positions people work w AS? I find any repetitive movement is painful and any non-movement (sit/stand/laydown) past half hr is also painful. Lose:lose for this newly diagnosed AS woman. Yes, working w RA dr on pain management, but curious what you do for a living or what types of jobs are best and available? Thanks kindly!
I'm waiting on my answer from disability now should hear something in the next couple of weeks..I do have an attorney though.. keeping my fingers crossed
I have been off work since June 2023, no return to work plan as I need to see the Neurologist still( on a waitlist). My Dr figures at least 2 years minimum. Depending on the surgery wait list. Currently on medical EI, am waiting on a decision for disability. This disability is through my extended medical at work
I had to stop working all but a few hours a month doing bookkeeping from home. Have you considered disability. I recommend you get a disability attorney. I was declined twice but now waiting for a hearing.
