What Have You Tried For Sciatica? What Worked And Didn’t Work So Well?

A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’ve been battling bi-lateral sciatic from hips down both legs. The shooting pains can take my breath away and leave me in a crippling state.
My PA said that several patients have had success with this wrap for sciatica. Has anyone tried it or something similar ?

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member, best wishes to you. I trust all goes well. Find a doctor of acupuncture, very knowledgeable. Thinking of you. 🙂

My epidurals take care of my sciatica pain in both legs/hips. I also have chronic trochanter bursitis in both hips. They inject them too under the scope. I am however thinking of trying acupuncture. If that works for me, I'd love to quit the steroids. The steroids work wonders for me but I've gained a ton of weight with them.

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member, I have had SI Joint issues with legs like wet noodles. I had Pain Management give me an SI Joint shot; it helped my legs. I don't know about 'a wrap'. Can you tell me more? I have a back brace for SI Joints from Amazon.
Wishing you all the best. I trust you get more answers with details.
God Bless you,

Haven't tried acupuncture yet but definitely will if the pressure point injections stop working.

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member, yes I do. The last time I went was almost 5 months ago so it really helped. The first time I got them they only lasted about 3 months.
