I use aspercream with lidocaine also my doctor recommended marijuana and it supposedly works well for AS. I know someone who can not take opioids and says it works very well especially for sleeping. Personally I take Cosentyx a biologic and Otezla and it works for some things but I am never out of pain. I use an ice machine wrapped around my knee and also a heating pad for my back. Best of luck to you. I prefer Advil gel caps because I feel it works faster.

Hi Connie Novak It's so good to hear from you finally see you back on the site. Thank you for the input and yes I truly believe they will find a treatment plan for me one way or another. Right now I'm scheduled to see a surgeon for consult on November 7th but I'm hoping to find another surgeon to get it pushed back up that's way too long. I'm so glad you went to your son's and you've had a great summer it really does mean a lot doesn't it. My daughter son-in-law and the two grandchildren came over and made dinner for us tonight it was so nice to be around them that's one of the reasons we moved to Boise Idaho well it's the only reason to be near my grandchildren to help cheer me up. Unfortunately Pam since I moved to Idaho I can no longer use either medical marijuana or just marijuana. In fact I've been tested and cannot get any more pain meds until I test negative which I have not done as of yet. I used to smoke in Vapes when I lived in Nevada.
