Pelvic pain, especially in the front right side, could be related to spondylitis, particularly if it involves the sacroiliac (SI) joints. This type of pain is common in axial spondyloarthritis and may worsen with rest but improve with movement. X-rays may not always detect early inflammation, so if the results are inconclusive, an MRI might be more helpful. Discuss your concerns with your consultant and consider asking about further imaging if needed.

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. Hi Mia, I have this too, have had for a long time. I started my investigation with my GYN thinking it might be an ovarian cyst. Nope. Then thought maybe kidney stone. Sometimes, but not this. Inguinal hernia possibly, but not for me. Many tests, internal ultrasound, x-rays, and KUB revealed nothing. It turned out to be a torn hip labrum. It was revealed only by MRI read by an Orthopedic surgeon. Sometimes it feels as though theres a tourniquet tightened at the top of my thigh where it meets the groin. Another source of pain there is strain or partial tearing of the psoas muscle in that area. My physical therapist works on mine, I have it in both sides, but worse on the right. I hope my experience helps you get to the bottom of what's causing yours. Probably not a stroke, poor AndyπŸ˜’. Yours in better health P, πŸ˜ŒπŸ™
