@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. Aaaargh! I just tapped out a great response to you and lost it all in the proofreading. 🤬Im not going to proofread this one and my hands are quite arthritic so you may need to do a bit of deciphering 😚.
Everyone here can relate to what you are saying very well unfortunately. The problem originates with the autonomic response system from theeats it perceives, physical as well as psychological. Injury, disease, stress, diet, environment. All these things and more cause a signalling response in the brain and body that results in the release if cytokines to go on the attack. The reason medications are either not helpful at all or are only helpful for awhile, not permanent, is because the body produces hundreds if different types of cytokines. If one or a few are suppressed it's only a matter of time until they either overcome the suppressant ir others take theur place.
To truly and, if we're really good at it, suppress the response for good, we must first determine what it is that our body either physically or psychologically perceives is a theeat. Whether it's garden chemicals, what we ate up to a month ago, or an annoying neighbor setting iff the cytokines we won't be truly rid of the body's response until we either get rid of or mutigate our response to the cause.
PainScale App was very helpful to me in determining how my body responds to various stimulus from disappointment to diet and environmental conditions and more. It helped me determine what is helpful and hurtful. Out of everything i have used/tried in dealing with my disease i believe it has been the most useful.
My next endeavor will be to watch a webinar one if our fellow members recommended. JiPrek is the member and you can find him under the tab "Teammates" in my wall if you aren't already familiar with him. He is the ine who provided the link to the webinar that begins tomorrow November 25th.
Please feel free to reach out to me anytime at all to vent, bounce ideas off of, and ask questions. I'm gere for you Lindsay. We all are. 🙏😌

I did three vitamin minerals a day every day: d3 10,000 units , chelated magnesium 250 mg 2 x’s a day , and vitamin B 1. 100 mg. Low B1 thiamine deficiency was from pain meds
No sodas no alcohol and low bread and sugar sweets. My inflammation is down. I feel good more mobility. Less pain.
