Ohh it's most likely a stye then. A clogged oil port. Get something hot like a cup of hot water and hold it against the stye to help the clog to liquefy the oil and it should drain by itself. Hot enough to feel a little uncomfortable but shouldn't hurt. Good luck đź‘Ť

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. I thought mine was possibly ocular psoriasis because I have psoriatic Spondylitis. You need to see an Opthamologist, not an Optometrist, for diagnosis of eye diseases. I had to use antibiotic ointment in the eye and prednisone to get it under control.

The medications you take to manage arthritis severely weaken your immune system making you much more likely to contract all kinds of infections. Get copies of all your lab work, especially bloodwork, and keep them. If you look at them and see that your neutrophil count or other white blood cells, that is proof that your immune system is no longer able to fight infection the way it used to and should. This was the first to go on me when I agreed to try biologics. After a couple of years my liver startled suffering too even though I had quit drinking alcohol. There were a few other measures going bad. I read the stories of the extreme cases on this site. It's pretty evident to me, in my humble lay woman's opinion, that the medical community doesn't have our best interests in mind. We have to use our own intelligent rational awakening to get our crumbling bodies under better control. Start with researching how your meds are manufactured. What you don't know will kill you slow and miserable.

Trying to take some control back and not let this disease be in control, already took your advice on salt intake, no more butter and hopefully start to see some improvement !!!
I have posted quite a-lot since joining lol but first time in years I don’t feel quite as alone and everyone understands
First Physio appointment tomorrow it’s hopefully all positive steps to a better quality of life

In the eye itself or the tissue around it. You're eyes have there own immune system separate from the body's. So there can be issues rising from that
