Does Anyone With AS Have Excessive Bruising? I’ll Wake Up With Bruises That Weren’t There When I Went To Sleep Or During The Day W/no Injury

Yes. Most medications for inflammation cause blood thinning, as do supplements for inflammation such as Omega-3. Additional vitamin K, C, and a supplement with diosmin and hesperidin can help. I quit all nsaids, the most common culprit, because I figure if they are causing that level of seeable bruising, it's probably causing damage to the inside too...gut and brain hemorrhage risks.😬

Oh, I never knew that AS and excessive bruising are related. I get bruised very easily and most of the time, I don't even know how I got bruised, just a few weeks back, I saw a bruise in my leg but then I just ignored it. But I never thought that AS and bruise might be connected. I'll try to read more about the connection. Thank you for putting out this question.

Yes, I also awaken with bruising without any explanation….
I cannot put it down to medication as I’ve stopped everything.
I look forward to reading others experience.
