I had the sciatica shooting leg pain .
For years I took gabapentin and pain pills. Nothing.
Then I read I could have a “thiamine deficiency “ B-1 from stress and certain medication usage. I took B-1 100 mg. Daily
The pain in the leg went away in less than a week. I take magnesium glyconate 250 mg. Twice a day. I sleep like a baby.

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member thank you, my biggest problem is nothing has been explained when I got diagnosed, yes you have spondylitis but not told which one of the diseases I have and yes you have fibromyalgia along side it, I’m angry, confused and feeling like what is the point the self pity kicked in, I’m not going to give up and I think if I keep reaching out to you guys I might get a little bit of a life back !! Gained alot of weight from Mertazapine and it’s a vicious circle never had so many symptoms and side effects in my life but trying to stick to a lower dose of Duloxatine giving them a chance, people just don’t get it but not ready to give up well I hope I don’t than you again for your help ❤️

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. This happens to me whenever I am over tired, over stressed physically, over stressed mentally, and sometimes adjusting to new meds. I don't take the prescriptions anymore because of all the side affects being as bad as, often worse than, the disease.

You can check side affects to all meds as well as cross interactions with other meds, supplements, and diet s in specific polyphenols online and with your pharmacist. Keep a spreadsheet of all meds AND vitamins AND over the counter meds and give a copy to all your drs and pharmacists. Dont expect your doctors to know and/or do it for you. Tremors, even severe full on convulsions, are very common with all types of inflammation. It all eventually ends in the brain which is the seat of the autonomic response system resulting in tremors due to both disease and meds.

I'm not against the medical establishment, but very few are served well on meds alone. It is possible, many of us do it, to get ahold of your sympathy the additional agonies of adjusting to meds and their side affects. You CAN do this with diet and lifestyle modifications.

At the very least, try the Painscale App or another one to track meds, symptoms, diet, everything, so you can more easily work with your drs to find the combination of diet, medication and lifestyle that helps you live your best life.😌🙏

Also magnesium glyconate 200 mg lunch and dinner.
If you dont do calcium like milk or yogurt you will have lactic acid buildup.

Also pain meds destroy thiamine absorption. I take a B-1. 100 mg no sciatica down my leg. Less than a week.
