@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. I have one of those too. If I correctly recall my latest MRIs one is at L3. I also have a perineural cyst between the left side of my sacrum and psoas muscle, something like that. And a chondroid lesion within the marrow of the trochanter portion of my right femur. Don't ven get me started on my tatas...All these medical terms and our innate fears of the big "C" word are very scary sounding until we do a Google search on them and educate ourselves. The drs aren't going to do it for us unless they think they can make money from it or its their specific area of expertise, usually both before they talk much about them. At least thats been my experience. 😏

Hemangiomas are "benign tumors most common in the midback and lumbar. They appear most in people between the age of 30 and 50 and occur in about 10% of the world population." (upmc.com);
"Usually not serious" (clevelandclinic.com) treatable"

I spoke to 4 of my drs about them all, they keep an eye on them with my MRI updates and advise nothing (i.e.surgery) needs to be or should be done about them unless they become problematic and they most likely will not, they rarely do. Don't lose sleep over that. You have enough to deal with already. 😌🙏
