I have just been prescribed Enbrel. I was on steroids and diclofenic 75mg twice a day. But it just helps my lower back a little bit.

I am on Diplofenac 75 twice a day but the Dr said I can’t stay on it long term.

I cannot take any of those medicines like Enbrel because I have Lupus, an autoimmune deficiency. It would cause me to get infections that would kill me 😞. I take Diplofenac 75mg twice a day. The doctor prescribed me 150mg, but Medicaid wouldn't pay for it, so he prescribed 75 mg twice a day, and they will pay for it. I take one in the morning and one with my evening pills. I also found a new vitamin that works heave ly for pain. It is Alpha Lipoic Acid 300 mg from Walmart. I take one when I take my Diplofenac in the morning and evening. So I get enough coverage for the 24 hour coverage. They only recommend 600 mg a day. They sell 600 mg, but I am afraid it will hurt my stomach too much, and I don't know if it will cover the 24 hour period. My sleeping has improved so much. I hope this helps you.

Yes that is correct. Diclofenac can be detrimental to kidney functions long term. I am on enbrel for the past two months. I have handled the medication fine, but so far I am seeing no improvements in my condition. However I do know someone that has been taking enbrel for several years and it has been much helpful for them.
