Magnesium helps me sleep better with less muscle cramping. Vit B complex helps lower my pain. I use turmeric in my coffee with a dash of pepper to lower my inflammation. Pepper helps the body absorb the turmeric. I'm still experimenting with a few others like vitamins C, D, E and K, as I had recently read that they can help with AS also. I try to get all the vitamins and minerals I need from my food though, more so than supplements, as they can get pretty spendy.

My doctor added magnesium and vitamin D. It is helping me. Consult your doctor.

- Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Found in fish oil, these have anti-inflammatory properties and can help control symptoms. They may interact with medications and cause side effects like heartburn or nausea.
- Turmeric/Curcumin: Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, it can help with pain relief similar to ibuprofen. Safe up to 8 grams per day but may cause gastrointestinal issues if taken in excess.
- Ginger: Has anti-inflammatory effects, though more research is needed for its impact on spondylitis.

Always consult a healthcare provider before starting any supplement regimen to ensure safety and compatibility with your treatment plan.
