@A MySpondylitisTeam Member, those procedures are for spine fractures, disc compression,more similar to increase space etween the vertebra where your disc is disintegrated or collapsed and herniated.

This is another procedure suggested to me 12 years ago. It's not easy and takes a lot of time commitment, but a really good Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in spine injury and heredity deformity can possibly help you fix this. I had one work on me and it's amazing what a good DPT can do.

This procedure is less invasive, but I don't think it will be an easy recovery and body response if you have an autoimmune disease. It is a physical reset of the shape that gradually has molded the spine. Reactive bodies might not respond as hoped and told by the dr. You will need physical therapy either way, best to do the PT for one year to strengthen an area to be medically manipulated if timemand disease condition allows.
