I had one it didn't help at all. It was irritating to me the spot where they put it. I had then remove it.

I have lupus and a femur bone is - 4 so I can’t break it.

Yes. Ankylosing spondylitis results from having an over-active immune system that causes inflammation of the spinal vertebrae, which tends to result in back and neck pain. It may also cause pain and stiffness in other joints, like your hips, shoulders, and feet. AS can cause bony growths on the spine. Over time, these growths can cause parts of the spine to fuse together, which limits mobility.
