My hubby had his thoracic spine fused. He's been amazing since he had it done.

I have a great pulmonologist who took a ct scan of the thoracic spine immediately. He wanted a baseline for me. My spine aurgeon is also great. He listens to me. So after 4 surgeries, he has began repairs to the t1,2,12. It was 20 years to get a diagnosis. I think I'm lucky i have good docs in El Paso

Bone squashing bone, bone spurs, bone causing pressure on spinal cord. Go over your MRI with your doctor, you have to advocate for yourself ask what would give the longest period of relief. All we can ask for is the longest period of relief and mobility. There’s no time that we will be completely out of pain, it’s always somewhere.

Could you tell how you knew it was time to have it done? What were symptoms? Thanks
