Karen,

This tough medical journey can take awhile. It sounds much like many others here. Am I correct that your symptoms are more active on the Left side? Also, do you have neck stiffness and inflammation from the base of the skull to at least the middle of your neck?

If you use a phone or tablet, make sure your neck is aligned upright and not bent while using the handheld device. This well reduce headaches, neck pain, brain fog and eye pain. The torque on the neck can cause nerve impingement over time. It will certainly make symptoms worse for cervical AS.

Best wishes to you. I look forward to reading helpful medical care for you. This is hard. But, I'm so glad you found this website and the people to support you.
