i found a bed buddy microwave heat pack several years ago, it is a natural ingredient filled flexible fabric tube that you heat in the microwave for a couple minutes and then you can put it around your neck to help gently warm it, Also works well for shoulders. I have the opposite of it always in the freezer for the days the inflammation is too bad and only cold will help. A warm towel right out of the dryer rolled up under the back of the neck works also in a pinch or put a small towel in your freezer and roll it up as a cold pack, just use caution on areas you have limited feeling, Hope those suggestions help
