My Rheumatologist told me that I need to get the same vacs. And I have resisted so far. I started Humira in April but had to go off of it for many weeks because of a surgery. Have been back on it 7 weeks and will not take covid or pneumonia vacs yet. I did take the flu as I work with kids. But not going to overload my immune system with all of them because a doctor want me to. One at a time when I feel my body is ready.

My Rheumatolgist insisted I get the vaccine since I'm on Humira and Arava

I was told by rhuemotologist last week, the covid vaccine is ok to take while also being on humira. She recommended i do get vaccinated. I have been on humira for 16 weeks now. I have not taken the vaccine yet. She would like me to have gotten the vaccine by our next appt where she then wants to give me a flu and pneumonia vaccine.
Ive never even taken a flu vaccine before. Ugh
