"Brain Fog",memory Loss
Is this a normal thing? Will it get better or worse? I also have SLE(lupus),and they're blaming it all on "brain fog." This has me feeling so stupid at times, and ashamed.

My speech, writing and memory are affected as well, I'm told it is because of the extreme physical stress from pain do to the spondy as well as the medication side effects and sciatica, degenerative disc disease, arthritis, and fibromyalgia. Any one of them and or the combination there of.

Yes true. As well can the spondy, fibromyalgia and some of the other ailments. But the combination of them is pretty tough at times.
I've had those " Oh my gosh, did I just say that!" And mid sentence "Where was I going with this?" As well as the " what the heck was I gonna do " and even the "where the heck am I at"
Briefly....
Some of the meds side effects can cause the mental fog.
Hi Krista! Brain fog is normal, I have it as well and I feel stupid sometimes. I also have SLE lupus and fibromyalgia and my mind feels tired all the time. It helps to nap or rest awhile during the day if you can. God bless.
Thank you. I just feel so ashamed and stupid at times when it happens at the wrong times
