Cervical Disc Disorder With Myelopathy Actually Be Misdiagnosed For Spondylitis

A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Kulpmont, PA

Could my cervical disc disorder with myelopathy actually be misdiagnosed for spondylitis, since my myelopathy was a symptomatic response due to a severely herniated disc at the C 6/7 level after decompression and full disc replacement a little over 2 yrs ago?

I believe you can have cervical spondylitis. I have cervical neck problems and it can effect your nerves in the neck and tinnitus. If our body is not aligned correctly we have all kinds of problems. Please take care and try to find all you can a bout your spine.

I have headaches. My doc would only say that it could be from my spine. I had surgency in the passed (2008). Seems to heal well. All pains have quieted down. Still have flair ups.. I find that going to water therapy and land PT works for me. I have similar problem c5-6-c6-c7 area. No rods or pins. Just a nerve issue that was corrected. I do have headaches and I go to a good nuro that gives shots in my head that helps with the share pain.
