Any Information Regarding Infliximab?
I've had 2 infusions, my 3 will be in 2 days. I'll start monthly infusions in August.
Monthly would be odd, most do 6-8 weeks. It works pretty good for me, but wears off partially at about 5 weeks.
Anyone Suffer Demyelination Or Optic Neuritis From Being On A TNF Blocker?

Biological For AS + IBD?
Is anyone taking a biological to treat both these conditions? I have to switch off Humira to something else. I check out Cimzia but their assistance program does not apply if you have medicare. Thus, far too expensive. I would rather not do Remicade because of the transfusion that is a little disruptive.

71 yo female.. Just dx due to co of back pain and severe stiffness this past yr. Had issues in the past.....but I could function well. Visible bridging in thoracic spine, not much other areas. Joint pains. Positive for HLA B27 gene. Prednisone really helped. Rheumatologist rec Enbrel. Hoping insurance will cover.
