Torn Hip Labrums - Who Has This, Describe How It Feels, What Are You Doing For It?

A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Fort Walton Beach, FL

I have a one quadrant tear on the left, two quadrant tear on the right. The rest of the hip joint is good on both sides, occasional bursitis flare, lesion in the marrow of one femur trochanter, but no need for full replacement yet so I'm not keen on arthritis scope surgery to repair the labrums because I figure I'll eventually need full replacement of the joint anyway. I'll wait for that to fix it all at once. Minimize number of times under general anesthesia. 😏

I'm wondering if anyone has… read more

Even shelters flooded or as you know the Tropicana Dome Stadium that held 10,000 cots for a shelter had it's… read more

A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Alabama

I cannot stand on my feet an longer than 15-20 minutes before they are absolutely killing me. My diagnosis are AS, Fibromyalgia, sjogrens, Raynauds, and neuropathy. I hear how people describe neuropathy as pins and needles but I don’t have that. I never know how to explain it but my feet just hurt and the longer I’m on them the more swollen and red and hot they become. I have to literally plan each day around my feet, meaning I have to decide what hideous shoes to wear for the day, to making… read more

Massachusetts

I am curious how everyone finds ways on a daily basis to cope with their challenges. Everyone has unique circumstances and experience this condition in unique ways. I am interested in learning the unique ways everyone has for coping. My biggest change for how I cope is a gratitude practice and part of that is connecting on this platform with others who can relate.
