A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Devon, UK

I asked a question a few days ago and realised I only put half the question. Anyway. I had sudden hearing loss in my left ear 18months ago and tinnitus and wondered if anyone else here has experienced the same with spondylitis......

I have to turn up the volume on my TV too. I also have Tinnitus, I read somewhere that it's not that we don't hear, it's that our brains mess up and don't comprehend the words, and "yes it sucks", I… read more

Dactylitis, Anyone With This Condition, Does It Ever Resolve On Its Own?

A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Fort Walton Beach, FL

This is a Psoriatic arthritis symptom. I have Psoriatic Spondylitis, a less common form of Psoriatic arthritis. I'm just this past week having my first experience with dactylitis in my primary thumb, feels like it has been smashed with a hammer and is twice the size it normally is. Topical voltaren gel and copper fit glove has helped some, but wondering if it ever goes away.

West Palm Beach, FL

Does anyone else have spinal stenosis and resulting leg numbness/pain/weakness when walking? I’ve had stenosis affecting my walking to some degree since I was 26. I keep hearing I’m “too young,” so I’m just curious if others on here experience it as well.

Off Of Humira And Wondering What's Next?

A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Jefferson City, MO

Due to my recent move to a new state my medical professionals are unable to continue to assist me out of state. Therefore, my Humira has run out without a pre-authorization from my PCP. I read If you stop using your Humira, your condition may worsen. Humira is not a cure. Withdrawal side effects are not likely to occur with Humira, but your signs or symptoms based on your condition, like joint pain and inflammation, stomach symptoms, or structural bone damage may worsen or return.Aug 29, 2024"… read more

COVID Affects While On Two AS Medications.

A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Jefferson City, MO

Yesterday I worked a 12-hour shift at the hospital. My day was spent with extensive hours in one patient's room. She was there for other conditions. Due to a procedure scheduled, she was given a COVID test. It resulted in a positive. When I let her know, she cried, "What else can go wrong"? I just gave her time, knowing, this news was compounded by her other issues. I said a prayer for her, my coworkers, and myself silently. Today I called each appointment I have scheduled for this week. Each… read more
