How Is The Feeling Of Having An AS?

I just discovered my AS on my first visit with a rheumatologist... just a week ago. However, I just want to be clear if anyone has the same symptoms that I have and I need additional info as to how you handle it:

1. The doctor said, my AS manifested first on my neck instead of the usual lower back spine. That's why the pain I feel always manifest on my back neck or lower jaw

I've had a couple of lumbar spine surgeries with a 5 level fusion, so any GI issues including eating can increase pressure on the spine. I have to recover after any physical work, but the exercise helps in the long run, so stay as active as you can.
