I Cannot Stand On My Feet. How Many Feel So Alone?

A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Alabama

I hear how people describe neuropathy as pins and needles but I don’t have that. I never know how to explain it but my feet just hurt and the longer I’m on them the more swollen and red and hot they become. I have to literally plan each day around my feet, meaning I have to decide what hideous shoes to wear for the day, to making… read more

A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Fort Walton Beach, FL

As if Spondylitis isnt frustrating or painful enough. 😑 I went to my Opthalmologist today for eye pain that causes piercing headache with shooting nerve like sensation thinking it's just a bad uveitis flare from my recent trip and quitting all anti inflammatory meds in preparation for this week's stem cell transplant. Did Ankylosing Spondylitis Change You Other Than Physically?

A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else feel like their personality and outlook on life has changed?

Most days I am okay but some days it is such a struggle to do anything like chores or things I use to enjoy. I don’t know maybe I’m just having a rough day. I know talking to my fellow Spondylitis sufferers understand. 😔😟

A MySpondylitisTeam Member

Yes, my life has been changed in every way. I struggle with depression and anxiety.
